1. Using iSquat
iSquat is designed to help people discover, review, and submit public toilet information. You may use the app only in a lawful manner and only if you agree to follow these terms. The app is not an emergency service, not a guarantee of restroom availability, and not a substitute for your own judgment when visiting a location.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide and for activity that happens through your account. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, or try to gain unauthorized access to iSquat, its moderation tools, or other user data.
3. Community content rules and in-app reporting
You may post reviews, place submissions, and photos only if they are lawful, relevant to the location, and safe for a general audience. Do not upload nudity, sexual content, graphic gore, hate material, harassment, illegal activity, doxxing, or private personal information. Do not upload photos of people in vulnerable situations or content you do not have the right to share. Users can report reviews and block other users from the review menu on a toilet detail page, and those tools must not be used for knowingly false, retaliatory, or abusive reporting.
4. Moderation and enforcement
We may pre-screen, delay, hide, reject, remove, or limit content that appears to violate our rules, safety standards, or legal obligations. Place submissions, reviews, and attached photos may be held for moderation before publication. We may also limit features or suspend accounts involved in abuse, harassment, spam, repeated low-quality submissions, false reporting, moderation evasion, or other attempts to interfere with the safety and review process. Moderation decisions are made to protect users, moderators, and the service as a whole.
5. License for submitted content
By submitting reviews, ratings, photos, or place information, you give iSquat a non-exclusive right to host, store, reproduce, moderate, adapt for formatting, and display that content inside the service so that the app can function. You keep ownership of your content, but you must have the rights required to upload it.
6. Accuracy and user-generated content disclaimer
iSquat contains user-generated information. Cleanliness, opening hours, accessibility details, queues, and facility conditions can change at any time. Reviews reflect user opinions, not promises from iSquat. We do not guarantee that any listed location will be available, safe, open, accurate, or suitable for your needs at the moment you visit it.
7. Liability limits
To the maximum extent allowed by law, iSquat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from your reliance on community content, temporary outages, moderation outcomes, third-party services, or real-world conditions at a listed location. If local law does not allow some of these exclusions, they apply only to the extent permitted.
8. Changes and contact
iSquat is operated by Zhuoyang Li, an individual developer based in Auckland, New Zealand, and distributed through an Apple Individual Developer account. We may update these terms as the product, moderation workflow, or legal requirements change. Continued use of iSquat after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised version. Questions can be sent to isquat@wanlor.com. This web version was last updated on March 9, 2026.
9. Governing law
This service is operated by an individual developer based in New Zealand. Any disputes relating to iSquat will be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
