1. Who we are and what this covers
Wanlor is a software studio operated by Zhuoyang Li, an individual developer based in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains how personal information is handled across wanlor.com and the Wanlor software services that link to it, including SaaS products, iOS applications, and API services. Where a product publishes its own privacy policy, such as the iSquat Privacy Policy, that product policy applies to the data that product handles and takes precedence if the two conflict.
2. Information we collect
What we collect depends on which services you use. It can include:
- account details such as your name or display name, email address, authentication identifiers, and sign-in status, including Apple account identity data when you use Sign in with Apple;
- subscription and billing records, such as your plan, billing status, and transaction identifiers; payments are processed by Apple or by our payment providers, and full card details are never stored on Wanlor systems;
- content you submit to a service, together with its timestamps and the account that created it;
- support communications you send us, such as emails and the details they contain;
- technical data needed to run the services securely, such as device and app version information, IP addresses, push notification tokens where notifications are enabled, and service logs.
3. How we use information
We use this information to operate the services, including:
- creating and maintaining accounts, sessions, and subscriptions;
- providing product features, processing submissions, and syncing content across devices;
- responding to support, privacy, and billing requests;
- protecting the services through abuse prevention, security monitoring, and content moderation;
- understanding aggregate usage so the products can be improved;
- meeting legal and tax obligations.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the information described in this policy to build third-party advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
7. International processing
Wanlor is based in New Zealand, and some service providers process data in other countries. Where personal information leaves New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected by safeguards comparable to those in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for data in transit and at rest, and we restrict operational access to the people and providers who need it to run, secure, or support the services. No online system can promise absolute security, but incidents that create a risk of serious harm will be handled in line with our legal obligations.
9. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain accounts and subscriptions, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.
10. Your rights and choices
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete your account or specific data. Requests can be sent to hello@wanlor.com, and individual products may also provide in-app privacy request flows. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within 3 business days and to resolve them without undue delay. If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner, and you may also hold additional rights under the privacy laws of your own region.
11. Children
The Wanlor services are general-audience products. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a Wanlor service, contact hello@wanlor.com and we will review and remove it where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the services, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version is always published at wanlor.com/legal/privacy together with its effective date, and material changes will be flagged through the services where practical.
13. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@wanlor.com. Wanlor is operated by Zhuoyang Li, an individual developer based in Auckland, New Zealand. This version is effective from June 10, 2026.
